Unions agree to join state health insurance (The Weston Town Crier) The town of Weston?s employee unions have voted overwhelmingly to join the state?s health insurance program, effective July 1, 2009. This decision is estimated to save the town more than $1.8 million and the employees and retirees more than $1.2 million in annual health insurance costs.
